Mari Okada and Ryosuke Nakamura to work on a slice-of-life anime

The April issue of Bessatsu Margaret announced that web manga Pocket will be getting a television anime adaptation.

The anime will be directed by Ryosuke Nakamura (Aiura, Aoi Bunkagu Series, Nerawareta Gakuen) at the studio Musashino Animation. In addition, Mari Okada (Nagi no Asukara, Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai, Hanasaku Iroha) will be scriptwriting the series. The character design will be done by Ai Kunogi (Exodus!, Dai San Hikou Shoujo Tai).

The story centers around the ordinary daily life of Tisku, a bright girl who enjoys small things in life, and people around her. The manga has been going on for almost six years. The series was originally a web manga but has been serialized in Bessatsu Margaret since 2013.

The anime will air during the summer season.
